I like to think I had a pretty healthy pregnancy but after having Morgan the weight was difficult to lose. I did Focus T25 Beachboy program and lost about 10 pounds but I still have about 10 pounds left to lose. After having a baby it is easy to forget that sometimes you need to put yourself first especially when it comes to your health. I know I can be the best mom to Morgan when I am healthy and fit.
I did my first round of the 21 day fix a couple months ago and I really liked the program. I cheated more than I should have but I still lost some weight and inches, but not as much as I had hoped to. I love the program because it focuses more on food than exercise. Exercise is still important but it doesn't matter how much you exercise if you are overeating in the kitchen.
This time around I am determined to lose these last stubbon 10 pounds that I still have from after pregnancy. I love the program because it helps you reevaluate what you are actually putting in your body. I never realized how many carbs (even though they were healthy like brown rice) I was eating. I am eating more protein and vegetables and have more energy. However, since it is a lifestyle change it does not cut out any food group and you can even have WINE! Each container applies to a different food group and then depending on your weight you will fall into a certain calorie bracket that will tell you how many containers you can eat a day.
Once you know how many containers you can eat a day you can fill them up with lots of yummy food!
There is a workout program as well and are 30 minute workouts. The workouts vary from cardio, yoga and strength training. There are ways to modify the workout moves as well, so any fitness level can do them.
