Life Update

It has been so nice having Matt back for the past couple of days. I can't get to use to it because he had to leave for Maine for a couple days to say goodbye to his family and he is a groomsman in his friends wedding. When Matt comes home we are leaving two days later, I can't believe how close it is getting! Over the past week we have had to say a lot of goodbye but we have also had some time to enjoy ourselves :) Matt went sky diving for his birthday with my step-dad Rick! He has wanted to sky dive for so long and so I set it up for him to go when we got back from Korea and he loved it!

Matt took Dylan and I indoor rock wall climbing one day. It is something Matt has started to do a lot while he was in Korea and we are hoping we can go together in England too :)

On Matt's actual birthday we went to a Nationals baseball game. I surprised Matt by getting a birthday shout out to him on the jumbo screen. The rain held off till right after Matt got to see his name on the screen! After the rain the game restarted and the Nationals won :)

Well next time I post it will either be from an airport on my way to London or we will already be there! ekkk!

We went to go see Straight No Chaser. They are a male acapella group that performs a bunch of cover songs. They are amazing to see live and even when it started pouring rain on us we decided to stay till the last song. And then proceeded to drive home in a down pour of rain!

Excited for Summer

A lot has been going on since I got back from Korea. I was the matron of honor in my best friend Galin's wedding. The wedding was beautiful and the bride looked stunning! It was a very hot and humid weekend but it didn't rain and so we got to enjoy the reception under the stars.

My little brother Dylan had a great time busting some moves on the dance floor :) Galin planned and put together everything for the wedding. It was a lot of work on her part but it was worth it because it looked amazing!!!

This past weekend I went to a Nationals game. The Nats played the Twins and lost in the 11th inning 4-3 :( Even though they lost it was still fun to go to a baseball game with my family.

I am excited for the start of summer. I have a couple vacations planned and I am leaving Thursday for Colorado for my cousins wedding. It will be my third time this year going to Colorado but I am not complaining I love seeing my family and the rocky mountains. More exciting news is the start of summer marks the season Matt will be coming home. Only about a month and a half left :)
